My Career as an Outlaw
Rock and Roll Photographer

From 1981-1987, I shot over five thousand photos of some of the biggest rock stars of the era, and all of it without press passes. Starting by simply stashing my camera in my socks, then taping equipment all over my body, and finally customizing a jacket to hide equipment from security guards, I shot dozens of different acts. Prince, U2, The Police, David Bowie, REM, The Ramones, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, Joan Jett and many, many more - If they were big in the 1980’s, pretty good chance I shot them. Amazingly, these photos have never been seen — until now. This beautiful coffee table book will contain 250 of my best photos along with some of my craziest adventures as I evaded roadies, security, and more than a few drunken fans.
